Day 23 Social Media Challenge from #teamequissimo:
Out of everything it would be my turnout rugs.
With spare time a premium my horses live in their turnouts. Out in day in at night in winter.
I do use hoods as Alfie doesn't like being brushed but a good turnout with a deep neck minimises brushing and allows the air over the mane so it doesn't pull out as much.
I do spray the manes with a good condition spray to help minimise winter mane loss.
A good turnout is worth spending a bit more money on.
These two rugs have been with us for 20+ years and they have been handed down to reuse, as you can see one is minus a tail flap but still in very good condition
