March On And Fear Not

''It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade'' Charles Dickens

I have been very spoilt this month

Treated to a day out with hubby. We went to the Greatwood Charity Day at Newbury Races

The weather was a tad chilly and we did go inside for the last race, but it was worth the trip out, I got to see the lovely Last Samurai in the flesh.

I had a fab delivery from Back2It Chiropractic.

Gorgeous fleece lined jacket to wear at shows and training

Proud to show off this amazing logo and support the wonderful lady who keeps us straight

Greens arrived. Been wanting a pair of these lovelies ever since I saw them introduced on the Cavallo Hoof Boots FB Page.

They have made it to the UK, and we are so lucky to have some of our very own.

Bad news is the weather hasn’t been great, so we haven’t had chance to wear them.

Not sure I want to get them dirty ha ha

Dancing

A group of us met up at the Equidance Demo at Addington which was electrifying. So many new ideas buzzing round my head for the RC DTM Qualifiers

I found out the music classes I thought I couldn't enter I can for the RC Qualifiers so big yippppeeeee and now time to crack on with the training

Quadrille Training with RoR has restarted and we all fitted right back in where we left off which felt great. These group sessions really help Alfie with his canter confidence

We have also had our on-foot Bicester RC meet ups to start working on the theme and music choices for the RC Costume Music Quadrille

Competitions

We dropped back to a mix of Prelim and Novice for some BD outings to get our confidence and accuracy back.

Felt a little worried about the SM backlash of dropping back so haven’t posted much about what tests we have been riding but had a lovely chat with one of the judges at the end of one of the shows who made me feel a lot happier about it all.

Feeds and Bellies

Ninja started his Green Tea and new Biome feed routine

Disappointing news

Disappointed one of our local venues we had supported all winter changed their March/April scheduling. We had their Championship show set into our diary for April but when we realised they had moved it to March we had already made an entry elsewhere.

Our Wacky Team mate Liza and Red braved the winds and came home with the Bronze sash.

Super proud of them, they have worked hard for that all winter.

Good news

A local venue The Croft Equestrian Centre has been added to the RoR League and bonus they hold music classes

Blenheim in September is now two days for RoR incorporating the Southern Championships
