#teamequissimo Social Media Challenge Day 6: Which Brands?

Checking out the Equissimo Online Store I instantly fell in love with the Animo Burgundy (Bordeaux) Gilet. It is stunning

There are lots of brands in the store we already love on our yard

Equilibrium - We have the leg wraps for Alfie. They are fantastic for horses that need light protection but can get a tad hot in thicker boots.

We also use the Massage pad regularly

Gatehouse - When Alfie was Aintree RoR Dressage Champion and won me loads of dosh I treated myself to a new show hat. I love my gatehouse, fits really well, never rubs, my head doesnt get too hot, the lining never moves and its also really easy to clean. For the style and fit it wasn't a bad price

Smart Grooming - I don't pull Alfie's tail I love the way it swings full and long for dressage. I do plait it for showing. His mane for a TB is so so bushy so I have a rake just to thin the thickest out from time to time so the plaits don't look like tennis balls. Golf ball plaits have nothing us!

I have a mix of show shirts. I tend to collect them as I go and if I like one I see on travels I get it. I don't have a particular brand favourite but I do have a lot of Premier Equine ones that are a fabulous material for the summer and the winter.

My Mark Todd top is a great fit.

My Kentucky Shirt is classic in style.

I do like Thermatex rugs, Premier Equine fit my boys well. I also have some excellent Mark Todd rugs, in particular the Coolex turnout with the detachable neck. This rug is a lovely fit with a waffle lining, if the horse does get hot it wicks moisture away from your horse.

My lucky socks are my RoR ones. They always get packed for special shows

I am very lucky that Alfie has won me and Dad lots of RoR goodies and we wear it all with proud.

I recently purchased some new bras and got some Berlei pants in the deal. I normally take Equetech underwear with me to stay away shows when I know I am going to be in the saddle longer than normal but I am definitely a Berlei fan now. I wasnt sure about the padding to start with but once on they were very comfy.

A lot of my wardrobe is of no particular brand mainly because I tend to grab shop as and when I see something, all the better if it's a bargain. Bargains mean more money to spend on shows and training

For the horses I believe you do get what you pay for. 20+ years ago we invested in two Rambo Wugs, they have been handed down to my boys and they are still doing a fantastic job keeping the boys mud free.
